We Love Our Pigs
Founded out of a life-long passion for pigs, Flying Pig Farm Sanctuary now exists to be a home to pigs of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. Many of our residents were abandoned, surrendered, or neglected before finding their way to us. Currently home to 40+ pigs, we are based in Williams, Arizona, where the pigs get to enjoy ponds, pools, grasses and snow. We love to educate people and introduce our pigs, so please reach out to schedule a tour or find out when and where our next appearance is!
Meet the Piggies’ Heroes
KIMMI + ADAM
Welcome to Flying Pig Farm Sanctuary.
We’re Kimmi and Adam Hustead, a husband-and-wife team living on 20 acres in Williams, Arizona, where we share our home, our hearts, and occasionally our couches with a growing family of rescued pigs.
The story of Flying Pig Farm Sanctuary started long before we knew it.
Kimmi had always wanted a pig. Adam, being a golden-retriever husband, enthusiastically supported the dream, even though neither of us knew much about pigs at the time.
Then, on March 7, 2020, everything changed. > READ MORE
Sponsor a Pig…or 2!
Sponsorship is one of the most direct ways you can change one of our pig’s life. With a monthly donation, you’ll help cover food, medical care, and daily expenses for our residents. In return, you will receive updates, photos, and the knowledge that your piggy is thriving because of you. Want to make it even more fun? Visit your sponsored pig during a tour or event and see the difference you’re making in person.
Donation suggestions listed below cover one month.

Doris
Doris is a product of accidental pregnancy, from a hoarding and neglect case in El Cajon, CA in 2023. While she is still extremely timid and does not enjoy human touch, we love her with all our hearts from a distance that she is comfortable with. We especially love her “Grogu” ear placement!
-

Stephen
Stephen was surrendered by a local family and quickly learned to trust the people caring for him. He is currently on a weight-loss journey and enjoys the extra attention he receives for his skin treatments. Stephen’s gentle nature makes him one of the sweetest pigs at the sanctuary.
-

Tinkerbelle
Tinkerbelle came to us from Golden Valley, Arizona, after her owner passed away. While she is shy around people, she has a nurturing spirit and often mothers younger piglets as if they were her own. Her quiet kindness makes her a special member of the herd.
-

Parker
Parker arrived from Nevada when his owner sold their home. Despite lifelong hoof issues that left him with disfigured legs and joints, he remains a sweet and lovable old gentleman. He now shares his days with his best friend, Henry, and enjoys daily CBD support.
-

Gigi
Gigi was found wandering the streets of Apple Valley, California, while heavily pregnant. She gave birth to six piglets and came to the sanctuary with her family in 2024. Calm and affectionate, she especially loves belly rubs and being told how beautiful she is.
-

Archibald
Archie was our first major rescue and was found wandering alone in a National Park. After a team effort to safely capture him, he quickly stole our hearts with his striking mismatched eyes. Fun fact: Archie absolutely hates bell peppers.
-

Wilbert
WillyB was found as a stray and won us over with his handsome face and gentle personality. Although nervous around other pigs at first, he found his place as a devoted stepdad to Gigi’s piglets. A past tusk injury left him with a permanently adorable tongue-out smile.
-

Regina
Regina came to Arizona after being rescued from a California shelter while pregnant. Though still cautious about affection, she eagerly comes running when called. She earned her name from Mean Girls after a memorable escape that cost Kimmi a thumbnail.
-

Patty
Patty was rescued after being abandoned in a backyard with two other pigs. She later became the proud mother of seven piglets, earning the nickname “Patty-Cakes” and inspiring the family name, The Cupcakes. She is a devoted mom who loves her babies dearly.
-

Carl
Carl was surrendered from California after surviving multiple dog attacks that left him missing one ear and scarred on the other. Known as “Grandpa Carl,” he is endlessly patient with piglets and happily serves as their jungle gym. Despite his status as king of the herd, he is really just a giant cuddle bug.
We welcome donations of all kinds — monetary gifts, towels, blankets, kiddie pools, straw, hay, pig food or treats, plus fresh fruits and vegetables.
Monetary donations can be made via Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, cash, or check. Most donations help cover food, bedding, veterinary care, and daily animal needs. Designated donations will always be used as requested.

Meet Gloria
Sweet Gloria was dumped in the California desert, locked in a crate with nothing but a purple bed sheet. Thankfully, she was found by some people who kept her safe for a week while they looked for a rescue to take her in. They were the ones who started to call her Gloria, and we kept that name in their honor. She was fostered by the amazing rescue Reject Ranch in Yucaipa, and got spayed and healed there before we picked her up in November 2024. When we went to get her, we were surprised at just how tiny she was! We were told that she carried her purple sheet everywhere she went, and couldn’t sleep without it. She had it the entire 8 hour drive here, and it went right into her bed with her that night. Within a week, she stopped dragging the sheet everywhere, and became the only friend to our girl pig who is deaf with special needs, Imogene. Gloria is not a fan of change, and if we so much as sweep the floor, or change out the door mat, it takes her an extra 5 minutes to analyze before deciding it’s safe to come inside. She sleeps on the couch, but it’s a pretty big jump for her which isn't safe or good for her joints so we are so grateful to Courtney Cochran, who donated a set of sofa stairs for her. Gloria is the sweetest pig of all, and is low on the hierarchy with her bestie Imogene. The only pigs she can boss around are, funny enough, our baby farm hogs! Even though they weigh 4 times as much as she does, those hogs have absolute respect for her and we think she really enjoys having a little power. Gloria is looking for a sponsor, and they will get exclusive Gloria content! Don't worry, she never forgets to smile for the camera!

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Surprisingly, there are almost as many pigs in shelters or homeless as there are dogs and cats! They are advertised significantly less, and due to lack of knowledge or zoning, are harder to adopt out. Pigs do not do well in high stress environments, which is typical of a shelter with dogs barking all day, people coming in and out, and living on concrete with limited outside access. Many pigs are dumped, or abandoned by the people who promised to care for them due to those people not being educated on what to expect when owning a pet pig. Micro and teacup pigs DO NOT EXIST, and when people realize their pet is not going to stay 25lbs, they typically do not want them anymore. A mini pig is any pig under 300lbs, which means potbelly pigs are mini pigs! We exist to help those pigs find a soft landing, and live their best lives in our herd with access to 2 acres of land just for them to be pigs.
